About the project

Reds10 are an important rising star in the construction market, leading the way in transforming how buildings are manufactured and constructed in the future. Their growth has been impressively exponential. We are proud to have been a partner in supporting their growth for the last five years.

The Challenge

The business is wholly focused on delivering programmes of repetitive standardised work with major government departments, across education, defence and health. Successfully bidding for deals is absolutely critical, especially in securing key government framework agreements which form their primary route to market.

The business was fairly immature in its approach to bidding at the outset, with no central bid resource and mixed levels of experience and capability in public sector bidding across the organisation.

The Solution

Jeremy was engaged to develop out a transformation approach in raising their game across the organisation. He trained all key stakeholders in bidding best practices, developed and digitised their bid processes in a new bid toolkit site and mentored and coached their new opportunities lead who would act as bid manager on their deals. He has since acted as a coach on the capture and bidding of key frameworks and programmes of work, including successfully helping the business secure its key Crown Commercial Services framework and its largest every programme of work with the DIO in defence.

The Result

The business is a fantastic success story, having delivered another strong financial performance in 23/24, recording a revenue up 70% at £142.5m. The company is anticipating continued growth with a revenue of circa £160m forecast in 2024/2025.

They have also been listed in the first edition of the Financial Times: Europe's Long Term Growth Champions 2025 Report, ranking 96th out of 300 companies.
